Check Out How to Change Decor Quickly

Many times the decoration of our house calls for an upgrade , doesn’t it? Have you been spending a lot of time at home and are you tired of everything? Just moved house and don’t have much furniture? Or did you inherit the furniture from your mother, grandmother, aunt and nothing matches?

Know that it is possible to change the decor quickly, with some simple materials that we often already have at home and that can transform the environment or some furniture.

Unusual doors

Doors are sometimes forgotten, so consider changing. It can be either in front or inside it. You can paint with some brighter color or with blackboard paint which is great for leaving messages or creating drawings. To bring more life to your door you can also wrap it with a very different sticker with lots of flowers, a cherry tree, birds or whatever your imagination sends.

Focus on walls

For walls the change is easier. You can hang mirrors or pictures, install wallpaper, glue vinyl adhesive, create designs with electrical tape or colored tape. If you like to draw or have a friend with that talent, why not create a unique image? Do you have a comic book collection? How about a custom wall with the leaves of your favorite comics? Your wall will be personalized and exclusive.

Display your photos

You know those photos you have in albums that no one sees or those postcards you brought from your travels? How about leaving them on display. Like? Display on picture frames, hang from a flasher string, or glue to the wall with double-sided tape. Choose your memories and let your memories wander or your best vacation trips.

Decor (un) glued

In the kitchen you can invest in adhesives to renew tiles or cabinet doors. How about using a collection of beer caps, wine corks or those coasters you got and collect? You can display in glass jars or frame and stick on the wall, to make that corner of the barbecue happier!

Customize your furniture

How about customizing those wooden chairs in your kitchen? You can paint, use contact paper or give a new face with leftover fabric, you can use decoupage techniques with paper napkins, all to modify that piece of furniture that was standing there and make it look new. You know that dresser that is a little “ugly” and you wanted to change? Customize. Getting hands-on is a very simple solution to customize your stuff and make it look beautiful!

A splash of color

Okay, you don’t want to change a lot, but you wanted to start somewhere. Paint a wall a different color (or paint your living room ceiling). Add color to your space, change a dull piece into something younger, dynamic or even romantic!
