Shabby Chic Style: 10 Vintage Chic Decorating Ideas

For those of you who do not know the term Shabby Chic, I will tell you that it is a decoration style that mixes old and modern elements. Vintage decor is one of the trends that has gained popularity in recent years. A rustic or country style with a predominance of pastel colours, particularly pink and white. It is about resorting to furniture, ornaments and architectural details from other times, but which, even though they have gone out of style, remain eternally beautiful.

The flowers are a must in this decorative style. You can use them for everything, yes, always in light or pastel colours. I recommend that if you want to decorate in the purest Shabby Chic style the goals in an old metal jug.

To store you can use cardboard boxes and decorate them. Start by first painting the entire box with a pastel colour: white, pink, blue or mint green and then adding letters or coloured flowers with the transfer. You can also glue a border of lace with a heat glue gun.

Restoring this type of ornamental furniture with pastel colours and an aged effect is one of the tops of this style. You can also make transfers on the wood to put flowers or letters on the doors or drawers to make it even more vintage.

You can make a composition and decorate them with rope, flowers, or vintage elements and use them to store your office supplies in an orderly way.

This idea is great to decorate the rooms. You can make polystyrene letters with the initial of your name and cover them with fabric flowers.
